Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park
Guangzhou's Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park is the biggest wildlife theme park in Asia. Covering an area of 130 hectares, the park combines fauna breed and protection, science research, tourism and science education in an effort aimed at "protecting wildlife, protecting natural resources." Since it opened to the public in 1997, the park has received over 10,000,000 tourists. The park features a vast and diverse group of endangered and protected animals that only a park of this scale and size can sustain. Since receiving six koala bears from Australia in 2006, Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park has been recognized by the international world as a world class animal park. |
